OxonStat can load any delimited text file including, but not limited to:

You can choose to transpose the data as it is loaded, i.e. you can load rows from the file as columns in the Dataset.
You can choose to read the first row of data as the variable names for the columns
Specify a value to be treated as a missing value code, resulting in an empty cell in OxonStat
You can choose any of the predefined delimiters or enter your own, by selecting other and entering a delimiter of your choice
Select the text encoding used to create the original file. See Text encodings for details.
As you choose options above the preview panel updates to show what the first 10 lines of data would look like if you imported the data with those settings.
Opens the help system for this dialog.
Prevents the file from being imported.
Accepts the current choices and proceeds with the import.
For text files multiple data types can be present in a single column and OxonStat has fixed column types. To factor this in OxonStat will read these files as follows:
When the process is complete you can review the data and convert any columns the desired, as follows:
If the results are not as you require you can undo the conversion using the Undo command from the Edit menu
