Details
The number of open windows is only limited by available memory. Initially the Dataset will have 50 columns and 100 rows. The size of the Dataset is only limited by available memory. You can change the size of the Dataset in any of the following ways:
- Moving the cursor or selection past the right hand end of the Dataset will automatically add extra columns
- Moving the cursor or selection past the bottom end of the Dataset will automatically add extra rows
- Using the Insert Rows or Insert Columns command on the Edit menu will add rows and columns, as required
- If you paste data, either from within OxonStat or another external source, the Dataset will automatically expand to make room for the data
- If you use the Goto command from the Edit menu the Dataset will expand to have the number of rows you specify
- Loading a file into an empty Dataset will automatically set the Dataset size to match the data you import
- Deleting Rows or Columns will automatically shrink the Dataset as required
Empty cells do not take up space in the OxonStat native file format (.oxonstat).
