Mouse actions

Data grid

Click on a cell

Selects that cell.

Double-click on a cell

Starts editing of that cell.

Click on column heading

Selects the entire column.

Double-click on a column heading

Displays the Column properties for the column.

Click on the division between column headings and drag

Allows a column to be resized. If more than one column is selected, and you drag resize one of those selected, then all are resized to the new width.

Double-click on the division between column headings

Auto-resizes the column to fit its data. If more than one column is selected, and you double-click to auto resize one of the selected ones, then all of them are automatically resized to their contents.

Click on row heading

Selects the entire row.

Shift-click on cell

Extends the selection to that cell.

Shift-click on column headings

Extends the selection to that column and selects all of the intervening columns.

Shift-click on row headings

Extends the selection to that row and selects all of the intervening rows.

Right-click on a column heading

Opens a context menu showing a combination of Edit menu and Data menu items.

Right-click on the body of the grid

Opens a context menu showing Edit menu items.
