About

OxonStat provides a comprehensive set of statistical options suitable for most routine purposes. Single or multiple analyses are easily set up using standard dialog boxes for each option. The selected settings entered are maintained during each OxonStat session, which greatly facilitates rapid analysis of data. The settings are also saved to the OxonStat native file format.

Select the statistical test required and enter the optional subtitle. The results may be displayed on the screen or sent direct to the printer. Even if the screen display is chosen, then each set of results presented may subsequently be copied to the printer or to the clipboard if desired. A quick visual guide to the distribution of the data can be obtained using the Frequency command. All p values given are two‑tailed.

The statistics menu item chosen will operate on the currently selected Y variables and X variables for all observations. Data subsets can be analysed or compared by judicious use of Filters which permit observations to be included provided the specified criteria are met. Several Filters may be used simultaneously to provide more complex selections.

Where multiple Y or X variables are selected, each Y variable is compared in turn with each X variable (a many to many comparison). In addition, where equal numbers of Y and X variables are selected, variables can be compared in a one to one fashion if desired.

A subtitle can be entered to further document any output.
